Trading In My Car Ltd connects private sellers with trusted, verified motor dealers across the UK.

When you sell your vehicle through the Website:

• The purchase will be made directly by a verified dealer, not Trading In My Car Ltd;
• Any contract for sale exists solely between you and the dealer;
• Trading In My Car Ltd does not take ownership, assume risk, or hold title to any vehicle listed.

When you provide details of your vehicle, we may give an indicative valuation, based on current market trends for similar cars. This valuation is for guidance only and is not a binding offer.

If you continue, you will be asked to provide further vehicle information and images. Our team will then agree a guide price with you, which estimates the likely amount a dealer may pay. Final confirmation of the sale price is only made after the dealer has inspected the vehicle.

Before collection, you may need to provide:

• Proof of vehicle ownership;
• Any relevant finance settlement details;
• Identification documents to verify your identity.

Once you accept a dealer’s offer:

• The dealer will collect your vehicle at no cost, at a convenient time for you;
• On collection, they will confirm the vehicle matches the description provided;
• Payment will be made directly to your bank account promptly and free of charge.

If the vehicle’s condition or details differ from what you supplied, the dealer may revise their offer or cancel the purchase. You are under no obligation to accept a revised offer.

We take fraudulent activity seriously. This may include ID checks, financial verification, and liaising with law enforcement if necessary.

We may provide optional tools, such as vehicle value trackers, MOT checkers, or tax band checkers. These are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as definitive.

The Website connects you with independent dealers and service providers. Any purchase agreement is solely between you and the dealer. Trading In My Car Ltd is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of dealer valuations or offers;
• The actions or conduct of dealers or other providers;
• Any disputes, payments, or issues arising from your transaction with a dealer.

The Website is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You must not misuse it, provide false information, or attempt unauthorised access.
